Deployment choice
Cloud and local deployment can be evaluated around your operations.
inFlow ended On-Premise support on July 31, 2024, and its cloud plans cap annual orders with per-order overage. MasterQ Inventory supports on-premise permanently, is bought once from $5,399, has no order limits, and migrates your items, customers, and price history from inFlow.
MasterQ Inventory supports inventory, purchasing, sales, warehouse, reporting, and deployment choices for teams that need more than a standard cloud workflow.
Cloud and local deployment can be evaluated around your operations.
Pricing, reporting, warehouse, and order workflows can be scoped.
Buyout, subscription, maintenance, and customization can be separated.
Do not uninstall or overwrite the old machine first. inFlow On-Premise is no longer supported, so a failed reinstall, Windows upgrade, database-service issue, or security-software conflict no longer has an official support path. We preserve the source data and backups first, then scope migration and a new local deployment.
Keep the old computer, database files, and automated backups intact until recovery is confirmed.
Items, customers, vendors, inventory, opening balances, and price history can be reviewed against your actual data.
Set up the replacement on your Windows 11 computer or LAN server, train the team, then confirm the switch.
The best choice depends on workflow depth, deployment needs, and support expectations.
| Area | MasterQ Inventory | Typical alternative |
|---|---|---|
| Deployment | Flexible | Cloud-led |
| Customization | Scoped projects | Standard workflows |
| Payment model | Buyout or subscription | Subscription-led |
That depends on your current workflow. We evaluate inventory, sales, purchasing, warehouse, and migration needs first.
Yes — the standard model is buy outright, with installments available if cash flow is tight. Once paid off, it's fully yours, not a disguised subscription.
inFlow's local edition runs on SQL Server Express, which caps out around 10GB — teams with larger datasets can hit that ceiling. MasterQ Inventory's on-premise deployment has no such cap.
Protect the old machine and its database files before attempting a reinstall. Current inFlow cloud clients support Windows 11; this is a migration-continuity issue for the unsupported On-Premise edition when a new computer, reinstall, or upgrade fails. We assess the recoverable data and replacement scope first.
It depends on whether the old disk, database files, or backups are readable. Do not overwrite the source files; we assess recoverability and then confirm the data and history that should be migrated.
Share your workflow and we will review migration, rollout, and deployment options.
