Why MasterQ is safe to choose
A new system is a big bet for a business your size. Here's what we put in writing, so the risk sits with us.
What we put in the contract
Price lock
Your list price won't rise for 3 years; after that, by no more than 5% a year.
Never locked out
If you stop paying, MasterQ turns read-only. You can still sign in, look things up and export.
Your data is yours
Ownership of your data is in the contract. Export it any time, in full.
Source code
Held on GitHub and released to you if we ever stop supporting MasterQ.
Where it runs
Hosted by us
Your business data lives in its own database, apart from every other customer's. We run the servers, updates and backups.
On your own server
The same MasterQ on a server at your shop, on your local network. Same price — and you can move between the two later.
Fully offline
Sites with no internet at all run on a license file. Contact us to set it up.
Everyday safeguards
- Roles and permissions: staff see only what their role allows, and nothing is open by default
- Changes to customers, products, quotes and orders are kept as a version history
- Over-limit orders need a manager's approval, with the reason recorded
- Backups, and a full export whenever you want one
Your accountant stays in QuickBooks
MasterQ sends invoices, payments, bills and a daily inventory entry to QuickBooks Online, and your accountant gets a free read-only login to MasterQ.
